A Look Inside The Frequent Flyer Programs

Airlines know the price of a new customer. And they know that it is much easier and cheaper to keep customers they already have. For this reason, has launched a frequent flyer program for the airlines. These programs will reward you with higher you fly.

Loyalty programs allow you to receive certain travel services based on the number of miles (or the number of trips sporadic) to fly in an airplane. Standard rates include a free ticket or free upgrade from coach to first class.

Some airlines also offer "elite" programs that offer check-in and priority boarding, and maps "affinity" credit earn mileage credits when you buy them.

To receive these benefits, you must become a member of the airline's program, and this can be done by a travel agent.

Not many programs you can join. But before you decide to participate in the program, you need to compare different programs.

Each airline will make the program conditions and restrictions. So you should be careful to read the promotional materials and all the fine print. Here are some things you should look at:

- The speed at which you earn credits, at least earned per flight

- If you are more interested in free tickets for yourself, or companion tickets or upgrades

- How much credit you are interested in the prizes

- What are the deadlines for accumulated credits?

- The airline operates in the city you are looking for, and if the path-in with other airlines, rental cars and hotels.

- If Awards may be transferred to another or simply members only

Also reserves the right of carriers to make changes at any time. Very often, without notice. This may include changes in the conditions and limitations of the price.

You should also keep track of the miles you've earned and compare it with the statement of e-tickets for you.

It is not uncommon for airlines add new routes, after joining the program. You might be able to credit this way, but not the use of prices there.

Another key is that you should be aware that airlines generally limit the transfer of mileage. In most cases, is to sail or attempted sale of loans or credits you have earned and you want to sell. You should never prove that the airlines are made in these systems, and active.
